According to new data the Citigo is the UK’s most reliable car, but what makes it so great?
Warranty specialist MotorEasy’s latest reliability index analysed claims data from extended warranties on 300 models from 44 manufacturers since 2016, looking at average annual claims and their cost.
And according to their index, the Citigo is the most reliable car in the UK – it’s the cheapest to repair and needs fixing least frequently.
It’s 88% cheaper to repair than average, and 1,700% lower than average in terms of frequency of repairs, helping you save money during tough times.
The Citigo was followed by the Tesla Model 3, Lexus CT and the Fiat 124.

The Lexus CT requires repairing just as infrequently as the Citigo, but costs over twice as much.
Dacia (the budget arm of Renault Group) was also found to be the most reliable manufacturer.
