Car firm hopes to reunite loved ones this Mother’s Day

2016 Dacia Duster 'Mum Miles' service (Mother's Day)

It’s Mother’s Day. So why keep mum about your feelings towards the person who brought you into the world?

A new poll shows that many of us regret not telling our mum how we really feel about them.

And car maker Dacia, which commissioned the survey, is providing the perfect way to tell your mum how much she means to you

The company is helping to build bridges by reuniting mothers and their children in a fleet of Dacia Duster compact SUVs for the ‘Mum Miles’ campaign.

It comes as new figures reveal that we now spend close to £1 billion on Mother’s Day.

We splash out a typical £58 each on our mums, working out at a whopping £928 million overall.

Bringing families together
Whatever your reason for missing out, Dacia is teaming up with Renault to ferry big kids and little ones to see their mums on the big day – and it’s free.

Dacia UK’s chief and mum-of-two Louise O’ Sullivan says that families should make time for each other this Sunday.

She says the service will ensure that some families get to see each other this weekend, which, she adds, is more important than any present.
